Back from Christmas in Connecticut, and gratified to see prices on the Web for second-hand copies of my book, "Gunther Rall: Fighter Ace and NATO General," are now ranging from $60 to $800! Wow! Sure wish my publisher would get back into the game with a third printing after the first two sold out, but she claimed last year she can't afford it. The Authors Guild was gracious enough to go to bat on my behalf for a reversion of rights, but the contract had no such clause, so I'm out of luck. Talk about a short-sighted publisher, who is now out of the industry. Pig in a poke...
Tosca Trevant is the character in my recently-completed mystery, "Music for Murder." She's from Cornwall, a feisty gossip columnist whose beat is Buckingham Palace. However, after barging through the wrong door in said palace and discovering a scandal, Tosca has been re-assigned to America, where, her editor claims, she can't get into any trouble. Ha!
