Reread Here at the New Yorker by Brendan Gill over the weekend, it's still highly relevant today. First printing was 1997. Marvelous anecdotes of america's great writers.

Tried to find the newest hot band that 18 year olds listen to, but it was too confusing. I finally settled on Blur, a Britpop group. I have Tosca wearing their T-shirt.
